On Saturday 30th November  2013, day 3 and the final day of the biggest ever coaching flash mob to date, a brand new  Our People’s Coach Street Team™ arrived on the busiest day for Christmas shoppers, ready for action.

After the morning briefing, some final training and bonding with their team members the OctoPod and Serendipity Pod set off to make a positive impact on the masses through free speed coaching, but had to battle with the bitter cold and busy shoppers in the funky location of Neal Street, (close to Covent Garden).

It was the toughest of all the flash mobs days because although there were many more people around, most were there to do only one thing – shop!  After learning from the repeated rejections and some suspicious public, whilst avoiding turning into icicles the OctoPod and Serendipity Pod connected and coached some amazing people, some of whom said it was like receiving a wonderful Christmas gift they could never have found in the shops.

Just a sample of feedback from the 10 minute coaching sessions…

“Speed Coaching was really interesting. Nobody’s ever asked me that question. Was good to be listened to. What the Our People’s Coach Street Team is doing is brilliant!”
Ray

“Speed Coaching was so fun! The action I got from it was amazing! Good timing.”
Oliver

I liked that coaching is very simple and didn’t offer the answer. Our People’s Coach enable us to find the answers we had within. As a result of the speed coaching session we made 2 important decisions. We learnt that if we dedicate some time to the issue we can make a decision quickly. Coaching is worthwhile.
